About TenderWatch
What is TED?
TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) is the online version of the supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union. It publishes all public procurement notices from EU member states that exceed certain thresholds. TED is the most comprehensive source of public procurement data in Europe.
What data is shown?
TenderWatch displays aggregated statistics on public procurement from all EU member states. This includes notices, contract awards, buyers, suppliers, and contract values, broken down by country and CPV (Common Procurement Vocabulary) categories.
Data source and methodology
All data originates from the official TED portal of the European Union. Raw data is downloaded regularly, parsed, and converted into structured statistics. Processing covers three format eras: plain text (2003-2010), TED Schema XML (2011-2022), and eForms XML (2023+).
Interactive application
For a more detailed analysis of individual notices and organisations, an interactive web application is available.
Disclaimer
TenderWatch is an independent transparency project and is not officially affiliated with the European Union or the Publications Office. The data shown is prepared to the best of our knowledge but may contain inaccuracies. For authoritative information, please consult the official TED portal.
